Meet the Varsity Head Coach – Jesse Wolfe

Varsity Head Coach – Jesse Wolfe

Jesse Wolfe got started in the sport of Lacrosse in 2005 when he joined the Snohomish Lacrosse Club in his Sophomore year of High School. Quickly finding a passion for the sport, he accelerated to 2nd line midfield before transitioning to the position of goalie.

“For me, Lacrosse had everything. Speed, physical play, and finesse”

– Jesse Wolfe

After continued practice he earned the starting goalie spot in his Junior year, which was highlighted by a captain position as well as 1st-team all-state awards in both 2006 and 2007.

After high school he decided to go the academic route rather than continue playing the sport of lacrosse and earned a Bachelors of Science in Architectural Design from Washington State University in 2011.

Looking for a way to get back to being involved with the sport of Lacrosse, Jesse began coaching for Meadowdale Lacrosse as a 7/8 Head Coach and Varsity Assistant, which lead to him being named as Meadowdale’s head coach in 2015. Following that season he took a step back due to a career change and began coaching Woodinville 7/8 and goalies at all age groups for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Having settled into a new career as a web developer, Jesse was looking to coach more often, and closer to his home in Everett, Washington. He joined Lake Stevens Lacrosse in June of 2018.
